Matrix Switching

Matrices are the most versatile type of switching module and SNG offers a wide range of facilities:

Configurations 8 x 4, 8 x 8, 16 x 16, and 32 x 32
Composite video and analogue audio based systems
8 x 8 SDI digital matrix for video also available
Analogue to composite converters can also be supplied
Switchers are rack mounted in vehicles or can be installed into lightweight flight cases (packed to IATA 32 kilo restriction)

Testing and Monitoring

In order to deliver a high standard of service it is necessary to start from the roots up. As part of a modular system SNG offers a bespoke test and measurement facility to manage the baseband signals prior to processing and transmission. A typical system consists of the following units:

Measures waveform and vector, in either composite or component and PAL or NTSC
Y/C capable
Used with video distribution amplifiers, allows for compensation and adjustment of video loss over long cable runs
